Today we are going to be talking some different kinds and types of chandeliers and chandelier shades. There are numerous different kinds of shades and styles available for purchase in the indoor lighting market, out of the thousands out there we are going to be talking about glass chandeliers.
There are many different types of glass chandeliers available but the two main types are European and Murano.
The European style is more than likely the one that most everyone envisions when they think of a chandelier, with the polished brass arms hanging down from the giant mantle and being blinded by 56 brilliant lights. The chandeliers that are produced on this island are truly indeed one of a kind creations that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Besides being blown glass the main difference in these chandeliers and the Maria Theresa ones is that the light does not emit from candles or light bulbs on holders on the outside of chandelier, these emit light from within the chandelier. This unique feature makes these chandeliers stunning to see when they are lit up at night.
