As Empire State Building’s chief electrician, Paramus man lights up the sky
Jake Nouel of Paramus has been at his job for 29 years, in charge of the colored lights on the 72nd and 81st floors. For each color change, he and his crew fight winds to slip colored discs over the 180 drum-like lights.
