Would this be a good chandelier choice for a dining room in a Victoria style home?

I really like these chandeliers and want to use one as my dining room chandelier for my Victorian style home. Which one do you like? any other suggestions.
I know for a dining room, the light should face down, but I just don’t like any like that so would this be THAT bad?

The room is about 17×17, with 10 ft ceilings. The furniture is Chippendale style.
The second light fixture looks more Victorian. Because you like light fixtures that point upwards, you may want to illuminate a feature on your ceiling. Perhaps a Victorian style ceiling medallion for the ‘wow’ factor. Otherwise, you may want to use a stenciled medallian. This could have an interesting effect if you use the same color ceiling paint but in a glossy finish or a slightly tinted color paint. If your style is more ornate, maybe gold?? Your room is big and those high ceilings are a positive feature that should get the attention they deserve.
