What does this dream tell me to you?
In my dream, I am at a school formal event ( I'm assuming homecoming or prom, since it's really fancy), setting up something. It's a huge ballroom, and people everywhere are setting stuff up. I'm supposed to get something from the top of a chandelier at the celeing, but I can't reach it. The guy I like appears there, and he helps get it down for me. We talk for a little bit after, and it gets kinda quiet cause we have so much work to do, and we part. Later in my dream, I somehow realize it's a formal event, and I have to dress up and stuff. When I woke up in the morning, I was thinking I'd better get dressed, or else I'd be late to the event. Help!
I doubt it has to do with going TO a formal dance, as I've had many dreams where I'm consistently late to big dances (sometimes even missing them)..I just find the way it played out weird.
What does it mean to you? Dreams are very personal and only the dreamer knows what they mean. For anyone to say that one thing or another means a particular thing in everyone’s dream is wrong.
I will point out that you did mention being late which could indicate that you are anxious about being late for events. Have you been chastised for being late? Or just overly concerned about being late?
